Special Announcement!

 Galveston Island Tennis recently filed for and is now a Texas certified non-profit. This is the work of Evan Warner, newly elected President, John Koloen and Tony Flores (both official board members). This new incorporation status allows us to expand our ability to support the Galveston Island Tennis community with greater flexibility. We will be able to affiliate with the USTA and be looped into their circle of competition. Moreover, we will be able to secure the necessary liability insurance to take advantage of GISD's new state of the art tennis courts for tournament play. So, great things are happening and Evan, John and Tony deserve a bit of palm to racket string applause for heading up this important transition from Galveston Island Tennis to Galveston Island Tennis CTA!
