GIT Semi-Annual Doubles Tournament April 12th, 2025

Galveston Island Tennis is once again sponsoring our 2nd annual doubles tournament Saturday, April 12th, starting at 9 a.m. Sign-up is through the galvestonislandtennis.com website, link below. The deadline to enter is April 9th. Cost is $10 per player to be paid at the tournament (covers cost of balls, snacks and hydration), which is planned for the Scoggins-Stiglich tennis courts at Menard Park, located between 27th and 29th streets along Avenue Q, Galveston, TX 77550.

The tournament is single-elimination with a consolation bracket. The match format is 8-game pro-sets with a 7-point tie break. The tournament consists of one division open to men and women 18 and over. A liability waiver is required and will be available at the tournament desk. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
