Galveston Island Tennis - Spring League 2026
About the League
League play begins Monday March 2, 2026 and continues for 6 weeks. In case of a rain-out, that week is not lost, it is just moved forward another week. Pay $25 league fee and it includes the tennis balls needed for all 6 weeks. If you cannot attend, please email or call GIT so that we can get a substitute for that week. If you know ahead of time that you will miss a certain week, please let us know as it will make planning easier.
Exciting Play
Register to play and tell us your skill level. You don't need to bring a partner, you will be placed with other players with similar skill levels and the rest is up to you. Move up and down the courts as you win individual games. Play with different skill levels , find your niche and accumulate points for awards at the end of the league. Top 3 point earners win league awards.
Spring League Winners
Wow! First time Ever, we had a tie for first place so an additional match was held to determine the top league players. Gabriel Cruz came in 1st, with Jeff Dubrow in 2nd , Evan Werner in 3rd and rounding off the top 4 is Liz Castillo. Congrats to Court #1 of GIT.
